My goodness, 2019! Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve! We got a generous amount of snow yesterday, which held up the celebrating a bit, but it still turned out to be a nice evening. We watched Robin and The 7 Hoods, as we often do. It's usually a toss-up between that and the original Ocean's 11, also starring the Rat Pack. Robin has fantastic music, whereas Ocean's is specifically a New Year's movie. Either one promises to be a great show because you just can't beat Frank, Dino, Sammy and the gang. :)
Anywho, time for January desktop downloads. I just love these snow pictures that I shot last year. To capture the sparkle, I actually set the camera down in the snow. Isn't it marvelous how the sunlight fractures into a kaleidoscope of shimmery pastels?

for those that enjoy an inspiring quote, click here for your desktop. I chose a positive-minded quote by Albert Camus, a French philosopher I had studied in my Existentialist Thought course. I'm not much for New Year's Resolutions, but if I were to chose one for this year it would be positivity. Choosing a slightly more "summery" view is something for me to work on in the New Year.
Do you believe in creating New Year's Resolutions? What are yours for this year?
'Til next time,
Eva
