So as not to bombard my wonderful subscribers with daily blog updates, I've decided to group my thankfulness posts together. Today, I am thankful for warm and fuzzy things.
Scarves
Knit scarves are my favorite pretty and practical accessory from October to April (since that's the approximate duration of winter in Wisconsin.) I've knitted these giant cowl scarves in just about every color, and they are such a comfort on chilly days. Special shout-out to my dear friend Anna who taught me to knit about 10 years ago. Your shared knitting expertise has made every winter a bit warmer!
Something fun about big scarves (and turtlenecks too) is that you can try out a faux bob by tucking most of your hair in. No scissors required! See Karlie Kloss rocking the style here.
Flannel
I also adore flannel this time of year. Button-down shirts, nightgowns, bedding - gimme all the flannel! If you're looking to stock up on some flannel, here are some great sources.
Vermont Country Store - A bit pricey, so hold out for a Free Shipping offer. But the quality is incredible.
Walmart - In particular, the men's flannel shirts. Only $8.72, y'all! Perfect to wear with leggings and boots!
What are you thankful for today?
'Til next time,
Eva
