Today, we're celebrating the 200th post on the Heartland Lady blog! And I'm sure you've noticed that the big surprise I've been alluding to is a new website design! I've been working on this re-design off and on since last spring. I wanted something fresh and more on the minimalist side, yet classic in appearance. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Perhaps the most important change was adding the HL motto (Cultivating a gorgeous and grounded lifestyle) to the header of the website. Previously, it had only appeared on the homepage. I thought it important to make this message more visible, as a reminder to myself and readers like you. Louisa May Alcott put this sentiment well...
The power of finding beauty in the humblest things makes home happy and life lovely.
