Sunday Best: May 5

Happy weekend, all! Well, after an awfully gray, drippy week, we finally have some sun and warmer temperatures. The sunshine makes me excited for summer, and so I'm pulling out a few of my summery pieces. Soft colors and light, cottony fabrics. *contented sigh*

What I plan to wear tomorrow... Blue oxford and white poplin skirt (both Lands' End), and my favorite pointed-toe nude pumps from Target. The skirt is rather voluminous, so it needs a sharp-looking pair of heels to set it off. Or as Mary Berry would say, "give it a lift." Heels do this in a very literal sense. ;) The pearl necklace is a classic finishing touch.

Other Outfits

Left: Last Sunday's Best. Check dress from Dressbarn, paired with a wide black belt, and black cardigan. Peep-toe wedges from Payless.

Right: Just a Tuesday. Crochet lace top from North Style, with my favorite Elle denim jacket. The dark wash looks so spiffy and popping the collar makes it spiffy x10. And clearly, I just can't get enough of pearls. :)
