Sunday Best: A Cream Coat Dress

Happy Sunday, all! This week's church outfit was a vintage coat dress in a lovely cream shade. It's easy to get caught in a routine of cheerless, dark colors when it's cold and dark outside. Wearing something in cream or a winter white can help brighten things up a bit. And some chic details (i.e. covered buttons) keep it from looking bland.

This coat dress was another Etsy find. It was made in Austria, likely in the 60s, based on the mod/shift silhouette that was popular then. It's 100% wool and a tad itchy, I admit. ;) But I adore the subtle chevron pattern and appreciate that it has some history.
